Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: 05/28/2026
Our Commitment
Lone Star ABA Services LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. As a healthcare provider, we recognize the importance of accessible communication and take seriously our responsibilities under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, and applicable Texas law. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This website strives to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We also monitor and, where feasible, incorporate the additional success criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2. Conformance status reflects our ongoing good-faith effort; we recognize that certain content may not yet fully conform and we are actively working to address remaining issues.
This statement reflects our accessibility status as of the effective date above and is updated as our audit progresses. We do not guarantee that every page or third-party component currently meets every success criterion.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure and meaningful headings across all pages.
- Descriptive alternative text for informative images.
- Keyboard navigability for interactive elements.
- Ongoing review and improvement of color contrast toward WCAG AA guidance.
- Respect for user motion preferences (prefers-reduced-motion).
- Responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%.
Assessment Approach
Our website is evaluated using a combination of:
- Automated accessibility scans.
- Manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.
- User testing when feasible.
We plan to formally audit and update this statement on a regular basis.
Known Limitations
This website is in active development. We are completing our initial accessibility audit and may identify items requiring remediation. Known or suspected limitations as of the effective date above:
- Some third-party embedded content (forms, scheduling widgets, video) may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working with vendors to address gaps and will provide accessible alternatives on request.
- Documents published before our formal accessibility program launched may require remediation. Accessible versions are available on request.
We are committed to resolving identified items and welcome your feedback on any barrier you encounter — see the Feedback section below.
Telehealth Service Accessibility
Our telehealth services are delivered through platforms chosen in part for their accessibility features. If you, a family member, or someone in your care requires specific accommodations to access services, including captioning, interpreter services, materials in alternate formats, or extended session times, please contact us. We will work with you to arrange appropriate auxiliary aids and services at no additional cost to you, consistent with our obligations under the ADA and Section 504.
Language Access
Lone Star ABA provides services in English and Spanish. If you or a family member needs language assistance in another language, or sign language interpretation, please contact us. We will arrange qualified interpreter services at no cost to you, consistent with Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.
